There is never a good time to have a flat tire, to need surgery, to have an increase in monthly expenses, to lose your job, and OK the point is made. But there is never a bad time to praise the Lord. The point that people do not always feel like praising is well taken. Flat tires, surgery news, and losing a job are emotionally draining. However, praising the Lord should be based on His worth, not on human feelings. After David narrowly escaped being put to death by Abimelech by pretending to be insane, he wrote the following.
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together. (Psalm 34:1-3)
Right Now is always a good time to praise the Lord. Take time right now to magnify the Lord and exalt His name.
